The Diamond X50 is a dual-band (2m/70cm) vertical antenna designed for VHF/UHF operations. This antenna is mounted 12 meters above ground using a pulley system, secured into a tree.

The antenna is connected to the shack with 28 meters of Messi & Paolini Hyperflex 10 coaxial cable, providing reliable signal transmission with low loss characteristics.

Most outdoor wiring on this station uses Messi & Paoloni Ultraflex 2; this run uses Hyperflex 10 instead, chosen for its lower loss over the longer VHF/UHF distance.
